I’ve looked here and on the web but I haven’t found the answer…
Does anyone make a hub for the SBP drum spindle that comes with a BBP?
I want to keep the 10” drum setup, but have a better choice of wheels.
As always Thanks in Advance guys - This site is the best!

had a set of 9" redrilled, possibly do the same with the 10's.
OR-use B-body 10" drum set-up, wider shoes but need to
change control arms and such...

You can change over to B or E body drum brakes. It is an easy conversion if you have the parts in hand.

So what else needs to be done to make them work? I know people that tried it but didn't have the experience to get the front end correct afterwards...

lower ball joint and bolts. big upper ball joint-- so either 73~76 arms or adapters for the small joint earlier arms.

naturally all the junk too-- spindle, hub, backing plate, drum.

same as a disc conversion only the other way around with drum things and stuffs. you might be able to make it all work with just the brake parts and no spindle, but i imagine you'd need to figure out the bearings, and then probably drill the backing plate to mount up to the small bolt spindle. maybe. possibly.

i don't know why you'd go to that trouble just to still have drums.

Wilwood makes a hub for sbp drum spindles that is bbp but it’s made for disk brakes. Not sure if you could make that work.

question: is that hub *technically* ford "BBP" with the larger center register? i vaguely recall this discussion in the not so distant past...

i do know *somebody* makes a disc kit for the sbp spindle that has bbp. and whether that's a dual pattern on a hub and hat or as a disc i don't remember.

Not sure exactly but all the specs are listed on wilwoods site including center register diameter. I’ll look.

i think factory center register BBP is 2.8?

only a concern if he wants to run factory rims, i guess. most aftermarket stuff is well wider.

ETA: just for edification, 2.80~2.85 is what i got

Have your 10 inch hubs and drums redrilled for the larger bolt pattern, with screw in studs That's what I had done,
works fine.

^^^^^ This. We did 9'' so 10'' can be done too. Redrilled, tap, 1/2 screw in studs.

At the last Spring Fling in CA there was a vendor selling modified Mustang rotors with BBP ready to bolt on to K/H spindles. Misplaced his card. I know I was interested. Hopefully someone else here knows/ remembers him. I'll keep looking for card/name.

Oops misread. Agree with others regarding redrilling hubs and drums for BBP is probably least expensive way to go vs. converting to B/E spindles and drums but that is just an opinion.
