Exhaust Manifold options for a 5.9 magnum and 64 dart

340 manifolds aren't exactly a clean fit in the early A body either, although they take less work than the Magnum manifolds. And then there's the port mismatch/sealing issues and outlet to head interference to deal with. And the cost.
Magnum Heads On 340
Easiest (and since you're admittedly not chasing HP) would be the '64-'66 A body 273 manifolds, that would only have minor interference issues on some (maybe not all) Magnum heads- nothing a SLIGHT touch of grinding on the head and a reasonably thick exhaust gasket won't solve. The ports match up better and the flow restriction won't be as noticeable (if at all) on a stock or mild engine. And the best part is they clear everything (steering column and collar, coupler, linkages, etc.) as is.

Passenger side doesn't seem to be an issue with just about any manifold (other than the port mismatch of the 340/360 manifolds).
