Cost for labor on stroker build?

i'm calling shenanigans on that 650hp 406 for 6.7. you'd need nearly half that in heads alone to put down that kinda juice.

yeah, maybe he got some deals but two things: one, how long are those questionable parts gonna hang out-- especially if he cheaped out somewhere on something; and B- the machine work costs what the machine work costs. unless you have some back room deal, that's at least 2K in machine work: converting to aftermarket 4 bolt mains, align hone, deck, blah blah blah and then throw all the ARP **** at it.

post up the receipts oscar meyer or get to steppin'
He ran speedmaster cylinder heads and he did all of his own port work. Remember, this is a sbc and they cost about half of what a sbm would cost. I wish that I could remember the name of the parts that he used. He got a forged crankshaft for $400. Like I mentioned earlier he bought everything from ebay stores. I believe that the machine work costs $1500.00. You need to check out those eBay stores if you already haven't done so. They have some good prices on their products. Compression ratio was 12.5:1, 6" "H" beam rods, I think that the intake is a victor and a holley 850, 1 3/4" headers, comp sft cam I don't remember the specs. I'll see if he still has the parts list and prices.
