Nicks Garage 383 build

So they end up with more power than they asked for, right? even if it's just a little more.

You try, but it’s hard to do because every ******* expert everywhere will tell them how junk their stuff is and how smart they are.

Look at this thread. Ramm posted his exact experience and guys are telling him how wrong he is.

I’ve said for decades every engine builder in his area should keep a list of customers with a rating system. I say 0 to 4 stars.

That way, when some dude walks into the shop and you aren’t sure what type of guy he is you can call around and see if other shops have dealt with him.

You could sort out the **** much quicker that way.

I went to work for a guy who I think in the second week I was there was in court over turbo V6 that **** itself several times. And he lost.

So he had me look at the paperwork and see what I thought.

I said why all that compression?? And he says that was the parts he brought in. And when he told the moron that 10:1 on pump gas with 12 pounds of boost would it would eat itself up, he said he could tune it.

Obviously he couldn’t but the judge said as the engine builder he should have built it correctly and gave that to the customer.

That judge should have been hung over that, but I digress.

In the end, when push came to shove he would have me tell the customer why we wouldn’t build his junk **** and I would send them packing.

Fortunately now he does it for himself.

Maybe someday I’ll tell you about the dickhead that called me a liar. My boss heard me threaten to beat his ask if I even saw him in the parking lot ever again.

It didn’t even faze him. He said screw that prick.

Or the time I climbed over the front counter to beat the **** out of some loud mouthed puke who was ******* with the office staff.

If his wife wasn’t kind of in the way I would have got my hands on him. But the prick sure could run fast when he knew his *** was about to get beat.
