Tire fitment 68 Dart
Ok, I bought HANKOOK 235/60R15 98T KINERGY ST for the rear 26.1"H and Hankook Kinergy ST (H735) Passenger Radial Tire-205/70R15 96T 26.3"H Yeah probably should have gone 215/65/15. The tires do fit, my new issue is that's when I noticed my wheelbase is off by 1/2".
RHS is 111" which is correct. LHS is 110 1/2". Suspension has been gone through when I built it, everything is tight. Last year I got ran almost off the road by a drunk driver and married a curb. Gashed the rim but luckily tire didn't pop. I change the right-side rim and both front tires and also installed the offset UCA bushings (correctly). Inspected strut rods and suspension. I brought it to a shop that last time aligned the guy was good with old Chryslers. We when I picked up the car this time a young kid had done it. Car seemed fine. If anything, one would think RHS WB would be less. Now to investigate left side. Lastly, is there any give with the K-frame if I loosen and shift it? I didn't think so as the bolts are tapered but thought I would ask. When I restored it a few years back, the driver's door did fight me on alignment a bit so maybe the frame got tweaked from previous owner. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to take a good look at it.
