A body big block back to small block

I wondered about the /6 to SB mounts too, but looking at the pictures it appears the /6 to SB conversion mount does not end up in the same place as the SB to BB mount does.

I think the only solutions are to swap out the k-frame or fix the existing mount. Worst case, he could trade for or buy a /6 k-frame and then buy the conversion mounts.

Personally, I wouldn't cut up a '73+ SB k-frame anymore. A /6 k can go BB or SB with the Shumacher mounts, but once the SB k is cut for the BB mount it take fabrication to go back. And with the option for Holley G3 mounts using the '73+ SB k-frame, they feel like a there is some value to them while a '73+ /6 k-frame is cheaper and easier to acquire.
