Ok I got both bolts out ,maybe I'm doing it backwards , I think some said in the comments to get the nut on the ball joint loose 1st ? Now I need to get the nut on the ball joint off

You shouldn't have to but it helps to remove the cotter key and loosen the castle nut.

Are you installing aftermarket A arms?
