Rear Versus Front Tire Widths
Yup! The saga continues....
Got the last 2 wheels today and took them down immediately
I run 245/60R14 all the way around. Like the rotate advantage and 1sz spare. Right front occ rubs on right turn with full load but minimal.

Yup! An little passenger side rub on turn here too.
The saga continues......
While I was waiting for the last 2 new 14 inch AR wheels to arrive, I cleaned up the rust and peeling in the rain gutter around the trunk seal.
This was my last big project that I had in mind. Turned our pretty clean.
So, when the last 2 wheels came in today I took them down immediately to hav the tire mounted.
**The 3.75 inch backspacing on the AR62 wheels has turned out perfect; as the rear tires still clear the springs by almost 2 inches.
I did also get the Ggabriel HiJackers installed, and it only took about 27# of pressure to get the *** end looking more level. I'm hoping that little amout of pressure won't punish the shock mounts too much
The specs are 20# minimum; 200# max.
We'll see how the shock mounts fare over time.
Now, like "DA69RT", when I didn't take it easy backing in the driveway turning the wheels right, I had a little rub on the passenger side. The trim there is wide and angled a littedownwards. So I bumped that back upwards, and will keep an eye on it. I've got a good dip where the driveway meets the street.
Pictures - not on the level.
***NOW FOR THE NEW PROBLEM:
On the driver's side everything looked OK with the 14 inch wheel; but the previous owner's calipers wer pretty close on clearance - about half an inch.
For some reason, on the passenger side the caliper clearance is almost nil...maybe 1/8-1/43 inch.
And, when I test drove her, the passenger side caliper was rubbing.
Wondering if there is some adjustment room there; or am I headed to lower profile calipers???
