Big Block A-body Exhaust Manifolds
It would be an excellent wire for building ears back. I don't keep track/ photograph what I weld. I've used this product for at least 20-years and have welded wood stoves, blocks, heads, intakes, and exhaust manifolds. If it's cast iron it will take care of it. The real secret of this wire is the 35% elongation if needed on the base you're welding too. Most cast iron doesn't expand that far, but use a regular MIG wire and it doesn't allow enough expansion a lot of times so it cracks the welds. This wire melts like butter and makes a really nice controlled weld.
