won't start....

OK, so starting with the SMP NS-11, I:

• cut off the outer pins
• got a standard single pin female socket (too big for the NS-11 pin)
• slightly crushed a stainless roll pin with pliers
• lubed the pin with dielectric grease
• pressed the pin into the female socket

Voila! The socket now snugly fits onto the remaining pin.
