Wrong Paint from Factory ?

However, if it was originally bright green, it would be very unlikely that the dealer would perform a complete disassemby if repainting it gold. The factory green would probably be evident under the package tray, inside the upper trunk area etc.

Thank you !! That makes perfect sense (about dealer completely disassemble to repaint) So - I guess ultimately how (if possible) can i determine that this car indeed is a numbers matching car (as seller is advertising) - but indeed arrived from factory wrong colour from fender tag stamp?
