How old are you and how long have you raced

"49" Always been interested in drag cars since the neighbor had a SBC 1961 M/P corvette in the mid-1970's. But didn't start learning anything until in 1990ish (after I got out of the USAF) I found that the old oil filter gasket could stick onto the motor you were changing oil/filter on. Probably one of the best lessons I learned is no matter how smart you are, a fresh set of eyes is hard to beat. I've only ever test/tuned and mainly helped others with cars using a conservative mindset. I'm hoping to show an established community of national competitors how well an outgunned hillbilly can fight starting in July.
