67 Valiant Wiper Wiring Info. Needed

I've read through several threads but, seems the more I see, the more confused I get.
I am doing a complete rewire with a Painless universal type harness on a '67 Valliant.
I believe it is a 2-speed motor and I believe the switch is correct.
I have a factory wiring diagram as well as the one I am showing here.
The factory diagram does not show what wire goes to what terminal on the wiper motor, it just shows 4 wires going to it.
The diagram I found makes sense except that the motor in the car I am working on does not have a resistor on it.
From some post I saw somewhere, the resistor is what allows the change in speeds.
I have seen threads that say it is not to be found.
So, does anyone know what the value of the resistor is supposed to be?
I can get a ceramic resistor but, need to know how many ohms it is.
Pictures are of switch I have, motor in car, and wiring diagram I found.
The old wiring is long gone so, I have no reference. This car was poorly rewired years ago and I am doing it again.
The owner thinks the wipers worked at some point but, I do not see how with out the resistor.
