That's what I did with my build. Troy, @CFD244 mentioned that trick. I used Nicop brake line for the tube. The tip of dipstick needed a slight bend as it was difficult to get in n out.(that's what she said) :lol: :rolleyes:
I seem to recall a deal where you tap the hole and use a fitting and tube. Maybe a flare nut or something? Seems like there could be some improvement with a little creativity.

I agree 100%! I've always thought the press fit dipstick tube was horse feathers. The thing to do, IMO would be to tap to the closest NPT thread and use an NPT fitting with female inverted flare on the outside. That way, you can use brake/fuel line for the dipstick and it's easily removable.
