I'm always blown away with your creativity and craftsmanship! I'll be doing a 8 speed swap this winter and have been eyeing your trans mount.. talked a little bit about with Tim T last week.. raised alot of questions in my head, ever since.
Is this designed to work with your front member, as far as placement? Stock motor/trans location or forward.. I know there's no actual stock Hemi location in these cars, but I think you know what I mean. I scooched forward just a fuzz but probably not as far forward as this setup. I think the is the only actual 8HP upper loop that I've seen.. I've seen a few for the NAG. I am curious about the adjustability tho..
What's your opinion on using a bolt in cross support vs just welding the upper where it needs to be on a something that is still using stock K with torsion bars? I was just assuming that I'd need to weld the upper to the existing xmember and spot the new floor material to it for strength. Still figuring things out and knowing that you're a straight shooter and you won't bullshit me just to sell me something.
