can a 440 be installed from underneath?

putting a 440 in a 71 duster and was wondering if it could be installed already attached to k frame from underneath. I know a 383 can be installed that way pretty much fully assembled but with the extra width of a 440 can it be done or do you have to leave the heads off?
I put this in from underneath by myself, into a "1971" Dart. Didn't have the shaker on, but it did have the factory style cast iron exhaust manifolds on. There was no paint transfer anywhere. It goes in pretty slick and quick, and quite honestly, I doubt I will ever put an engine in from the top, if I have the option.
