Trying to ID a cam in a mystery motor. Help?
So long story short I picked up a 360 that was last run in a circle track car in 1996. The seller drove the car but knows nothing on engine specs. Not sure who the builder was.
So far I’ve pulled one head and found a few things. The heads are “915” J heads, no major port work but does have 2.02/1.60 valves. Head has been cut 0.050” from a stock head. Red valve springs (stock 340?). The wrong push rods, oil hole, maybe Magnum? Cylinders are relieved at the top, 0.020” over, SealedPower factory replacement style pistons, 0.050” in the hole with 10cc valve reliefs.
So I popped the cam plug off hoping to get a usable number to ID the cam. This is what I got, anybody know what it is?
