Starting another EFI installation on my ‘71 Duster 340 4-speed

curious to see how the sniper 2 works out.. they supposedly addressed a bunch of the origiunals issues..

been tossing around the idea of going sniper.. i even have the tanks inc fuel tank and pump. not doing anything right now though. have to recoupe from the work i just did to the car. i have a friend that has installed quite a few sniper kits... most have worked out perfect for him and i start thinking ,yea i'm gonna start gather the kit.. then he has issues with one and i think, you know that carb is so easy to work on and i can get holley stuff anywhere..lol...
Hey Joe. Honestly it sounds like I am talking to myself, lol. I too am burned out on wrenching because I have been feverishly rehabbing a pair of twin Kia Sportages for my daughters over the past month or so (don't even get me started on that story, lol).

I was very happy with the end result with the first gen Sniper install, and I took what I read in the sales pitch about the EMI mitigation of Sniper 2 with a grain of salt. But I powered through the first install without throwing it in the trash can (it didn't hurt that I am an EMC engineer, lol). Overall I think the system offers a lot, especially with user-friendly self-learning and programming options, and now with Bluetooth - goodbye silly wired, hand-held interface. I'm looking forward to the improvements to easy starting, better and smoother running, and even a bit of an HP boost. I was pleasantly surprised that the first one really gave that 360 a kick in the pants!

Enjoy your break and I will start posting updates when I get going for real.
