Petronix Electronic Ignition Any Good?

I have two seasons on a Pertronix 512 ignition box. I realize it isnt the same as you have, but it is working well for me. It has a 2 step, start retard, and a bunch of other useful functions. I have 3 or 4 thousand street miles on it, and about 40 1/4 mile passes.
