Nicks Garage 383 build

You think the 383 struggles a little torque wise besides intake and exhaust manifolds, is stock big block heads aren't known to flow lots of air and sure the port csa and cc are a little on the large size especially for a 383 that makes peak power at 5,000 rpm ?
