Stroked 318 power

Food for thought: if the factory had used the same stroker crank your talking about in the 318 back then - would be still call it a stroker?
Probably not since it's only called a stroker compared to stock stroke.
And why didn’t the factory make a crank like that? They would had killed it at the horsepower wars of the late early 70’s. Emissions?
Chrysler seemed to love Big bore's shorter strokes and long rods. They probably felt the 360/383/400 covered that need.
