What holds the igntion switch in the dash?

Hello! 1965 Dart GT. when the keys are turned to start the ignition switch turns as well. We can't tighten the bezel any tighter, the hole in the dash and switch is notched at 6 o'clock, but there's nothing there to index them, is something missing? No ignition or starting or electrical problems here, Thanks in advance

Your year switch should have three ribs running down the side of the switch, The rib at the 6 o'clock position should have a small nub on it that would lock into a slot in the dash frame. Later switch designs were the other way around.....a slot in the switch and a tang in the dash frame to lock the switch in place. A photo of your switch along with the part number might help I.D. your switch.
