JayB, now that you can post pictures, how about putting it together and adjusting, then posting pictures foot off the pedal? Can a helper let you get a pic of the linkage position with the pedal pressed? I doubt the problem is the fork pivot.

I don't know why folks want to use phones for everything. Second hand digital cameras are dirt cheap on ebay and produce standard, common formats like "jpg".
