Carlisle post show thoughts

Carlisle is the best, the highlight if my summer. Been going since the ‘90s. I love having a vendor spot even if I don’t sell anything. I’ll never understand any negativity about the show.

I did OK selling this year especially since I had mostly low dollar items. Gotta make stuff presentable and people will be more inclined to buy let alone look at it or make offers. If you don’t want to put in the effort to clean stuff up you’re going to have to be willing to take pennies on the dollar. I gave away a bunch of stuff too. I agree the swap meet was a little thin this time but on the way out I registered again so I’ll be back for more next year.

Yeah, it was hot. It’s always like that to some degree. I’ll take the heat over rain though.
