Electric Vacuum pumps

So I am running at about 11-12 hg vacuum. I am in a B-body with front disc rear drum set up. I think I could use more vacuum assist. Am thinking about getting an electric vacuum pump (Rotary Vane type). However the vacuum switch seems like it’s the weak link in reliability?

Are there any recommendations you guys have in systems or discrete parts?

I have one in the Charger, 4 wheel discs in that car. The pump is routed through a fuse. It works fine but I too worry about reliability.

I tried that, I couldn't get the system to work. I wore out 3 power steering pumps trying to get the HB unit to provide boost before I admitted defeat and removed the POS.
