Dot date

So They are 47 years old instead or 56?
Nah i'm going with 67 My advice is don't believe everything you read on the internet just because its there doesn't make it true.
I suppose they could have bucked the industry norm and put a 2 digit year (which wasn't required in the dot date code until after 2000)....but my guess is still the first 3 characters of the DL2267 are a mold cavity identifier, the next 2 are the week (26th week of the year), and the last the year, so you can't be sure if they're from '67 or '77. still older than I would want to drive on.....
