Don't read if you're close minded

I’ve done the 4150/4500 test a number of times thru the years, although for most of them the details are gone from memory.
Two that I still remember were a 406 SBC with a used 18* top end off an old Busch North 358, and a Street/Strip 572 BBM with EZ295 Indy heads.

The 406 picked up over 30hp going from a HP950 to a 1050/4500.
The 572 however gained less than 10hp going from a Mighty Demon 850 to a 1150/4500.

Like most things…….how they respond is usually combo specific.
On adapters or was there a corresponding manifold change with the carb change?
