My old county is 22 miles east to west, 23 miles north to south, it has a population of 1.385 million, the next county east is Suffolk with 1.525 million but more than double the land area, to the west is Queens county NYC, population of 2.361 million.

Much of the racing happened in Nassau county as the city is a bit crowded until the wee hours of the morning when the racing starts.

If you ever plan to be in lower NY on Long Island, let me know. I’ll used you to car shows that are free and are just simple gatherings where the cars in the parking lots will easily number over 3K every meet night.
