NOS 1975 North Carolina vanity license plate "DUSTER"
Yes, you read this correctly. I have a 1975 North Carolina vanity license plate "DUSTER". It is in NOS (new old stock), though the DMV envelope is missing. I got this in a trade a while back with a fellow license plate collector. He did not have the back story on it. I have a friend with a 75 Duster (reason I traded) but he wasn't interested as it doesn't match the condition of his car and thinks this tag deserves to be on a much nicer car. Never mounted on a car. It does have some slight scratches on the paint from years of shelf life not being in its envelope. You can find new and used 75 NC tags all day long (I have plenty), but there was only ONE that had DUSTER and here it is. Asking $125 for it. I'm in Huntersville, just above Charlotte NC. Can meet up if local or ship if need be.
