I don't know. That wouldn't explain their zero or near zero deck height. That describes someone's off the shelf aftermarket piston. A stock piston never came up that high in the bore.

Rusty I built. 360 for drag racing years ago. Flush deck height but had to cut in valve reliefs for the “big cam” I had ground for it. Built more on the exhaust side - anyhow those pistons were part of a PAW kit. Never knew what pistons they were. Even the machine shop was stumped but they worked and ran many passes at 12.2 even a few in the high 11’s.
