Rusty I built. 360 for drag racing years ago. Flush deck height but had to cut in valve reliefs for the “big cam” I had ground for it. Built more on the exhaust side - anyhow those pistons were part of a TRW kit. Never knew what pistons they were. Even the machine shop was stumped but they worked and ran many passes at 12.2 even a few in the high 11’s.
I do know that the 71 360 was the only one that had a different compression height.....until the Magnum. They were much closer to zero deck....and you used to could get those, but no longer.
