A833 shifting problem

I’ll crawl under the car tomorrow while running and see if that is the issue with the 3:4 lever. Thanks

I have tried the first shifting before stopping but that is difficult. A tranny guy I met at a show said he thinks maybe my free play needs adjusting. I did that and going to a show this morning it was fine. Coming home not. Frustrating
