A833 shifting problem

It’s warning up and getting hot.
My first guess is clutch is out of adjustment. Make sure the throw out bearing is disengaged from the clutch fingers while under the car. Might not have an air gap.
Second what is your pilot bearing? Oil light or roller. If not lubricated correctly it will stick the input shaft and not allow the input shaft stop spinning. It may actually stay engaged.
Third- do you have all the correct clutch parts to match the year bell housing you are using. That zbar needs to be straight across and not cocked. Engine mounts need to be proper also. If the engine is too much in the air the clutch may not disengage all the way.
