VVT cam timing
So I have had my Duster running for about a year now and it seems to run fine. It idles smoothly and I can drive it anywhere. I is a 2012. 5.7 hemi truck engine that is mostly stock except for a 392 cam and Mopar springs and a mega squirt gold box. But it doesn't seem to have the power it should and after running a nostalgia race last month I decided to check cam timing. After doing a compression test and a leak down test which were normal I pulled the front cover and left cylinder head off to check chain alignment witch was on the marks. So I checked intake centerline that was at 89 degrees so I removed the cam phaser to check for a bent cam pin that was ok. I loosened the bolts on the back of the phaser and heard a pop retighten bolts and reinstalled then rechecked cam timing witch is now at 102 degrees so was thinking that I might lock out the phaser but I would be stuck at 102 degrees. I did some research and it seems that the 392 stick cams centerline should be at 114 degrees. Any idea's I am hoping this is my power problem
