Commercial vendors like Roy and Jamie from Mega Parts bailed on the Nats a few years back. They got tired of fighting with the management about vendor spaces and the tent companies showing up 2 days late with pieces for their display. Commercial vendors have thousands $$ invested in multiple vehicle travel expenses, food, and lodging for a week. You have to sell a lot of license plate screws to make enough profit to cover that. They can make more profit by staying home and manning the phones and internet.
