Engine stalls when you pull number 5 spark plug wire.

Checked spark plugs and number 5 seems to be the culprit. When I pull off the spark plug wire the engine almost stalls.

How do you figure?
To me, it seems to be running on #5 only, lol.

My guess it that the throttle blades are too far closed.
