Do radial slicks hook better in the heat than bias?
For those who may not know, and I don't think it was mentioned yet, but radial slicks don't "grow" like a bias ply slick. That usually shows a higher rpm through the lights. Not always good if you're geared on the ragged edge. It can be hard to tell if you're starting to float the valves, but the "hammering" has started. Less gear, taller radial and/or wider rim can cut down rpm a bit.
