Building my first 440
Where you gonna find a good pair of iron heads at 50 years of age?
I have a garage full of 'em and they is all worn out!
So its Edelbrock's or something cheaper 440 Source etc.
Flat tops and a good camshaft and you is good to go.
I have run mid tens with a 440 with 906 heads!
Big roller cam and lots of trick head work needed.
Buts that so ''last century'' its a different game now with so much choice.
Trickflow's if you wanna make power, so I've been told.
Crower street roller camshaft if you have the budget.
So sick of ruined flat tappet camshafts, so much grief when they fail...:mob:
