New 408 build finally started

So those heads and Indy intake have been sitting unused ever since on my shelf. They maxed out at 227cfm but now I have a set of standard port window heads at 334cfm. I will take some time during my 408 rebuild this winter to set those heads and intake to see what’s up with oil sucking in the bottom of the intake port window. If I was to guess I bought the intake used so was it cut before I bought it. I know my block was cut and squared so maybe it just needs a thicker intake gasket. Maybe the angle between an Edelbrock head head and Indy intake is a hair different. With everything I’ve learned over the past several years porting this heads and not having a valve seat machine can I hit 340 plus cfm. Hmmmmm. Is this the right time to try a 2.100 intake valve.
