Proud of the AMX

I purchased the engine assembled, so I can't say what the individual parts cost. But I quickly looked at a couple of things. A super victor is about $75 dollars more than a air gap, Bloomer heads use much cheaper rocker arms than the Trick flow heads. The Bloomer crank when he had them were comparably priced with other stroker cranks of that time. This engine has been run on pump gas before. Every thing in the engine is easily obtainable is what I was referring to. There's no custom camshaft, no porting of the intake, my heads are the same he sells to everyone else. That's what I'm referring to, that anyone could build a engine just like it without much effort. I wonder what it could do with custom 14 to 1 pistons and a ported intake?
ah ok.. just seems special to me :) BTW.. rockers for my trickflows were $550.. i don't know how much cheaper the rockers for bloomers could be?
