Felpro Oil pan rubber seal seems too big

OK, I tried searching for this on the forms, but I couldn’t find anything specifically

I have a Fel Pro 260–1033 kit

When I got to putting on the oil pan, the rear seal rubber seems really big

Is this normal?

Oh and so you know, the cork gasket ends go UNDER the ends of the rubber seal. With a dab of RTV on top right where the two come together.
