So how sad is this

I grew up in the St. Louis area and listened to a station Called KSHE95. still there doing their thing . But back in the 70s they played and called their self Progressive Rock Radio. They would bring in up and coming new regional bands such as REO, Styx, Ozark Mountain, Daredevils, Montross , ect. Always like the lesser played progressive stuff. Like Barkley James Harvest for example. You can go on Youtube and search KSHE classics and here all this old great non top 40 music all in a lump of maybe 100 songs at once. Rock on !

I really think we were robbed by top 40 in the 60s and 70s basically until FM radio became popular. It was like the mafia that controlled who got air play and who didn't. If you bought albums you got to bypass that.
