Mopar Gods forgiveness
Hey guys, crawling under the car for the first time I saw that the passenger side LCA has a noticeable gap at the top… speaking with a few other members here it seems that’s fairly common and can be remedied with a little clamping and welding a bracket which is all doable… not looking for anyone to “hold my hand” here but I would like real life experience or suggestions on, at this point of the build being early on… should I consider getting into front discs brakes? It’s being heavily suggested but the kits I see online are $600-$1100 and that’s a bit beyond me right now with everything else to consider… am I missing something in a more affordable alternative in going to discs, FABO member burrpenick suggested “add front disc brakes- you can get them from 1973 and up older Mopars A bodies that work well- and add the safer dual reservoir master cylinder.” What other costs and difficulties come with in doing so?
Or am I better off sticking with my current setup and repairing LCA gap? Thanks!
