Agreed @cpearce ! Lots of commonality here. On road trips I put my IPod on shuffle. I can go straight from Nugent Stranglehold to Beethoven then to David Allan Coe. I like good music and there is a lot of it! And of course the obligatory Zepplin album cover, tattooed on my arm! And yes I still listen to it loud!
I listen to it loud too, but maybe that's because my hearing isn't what it used to be after years around race cars and very loud concerts. Deep Purple in the '70s comes to mind. :D
My son and I went to a Rush concert in 201X and I guess I'm not too old because it was not too loud! Jokes aside, that was one of the coolest father-son things ever.
