My high school buddy did stuff like this but his was permanent. Alarm, amp, PA, it was a bird's nest under the dash and this gave me a flash back. Duck tape everywhereI've rigged up an oil pressure gauge in similar fashion plenty of times when priming an engine, but never a temp gauge.
Ok maybe someone can help with wiring. My car is as bone stock of a chassis as you can get. No aftermarket anything. Completely disconnected the alternator unplugged the MSD, pulled out the dome light bulb, no trunk, hood or glove box lights. Have a 10V draw with the meter between the cable and battery post. Just got a load of new fuses today so I’m going to start pulling one fuse at a time. But I have heard of other people having this problem. Is it a common problem. My high school buddy did stuff like this but his was permanent. Alarm, amp, PA, it was a bird's nest under the dash and this gave me a flash back. Duck tape everywhere
Did you mean 10 amp? That would be a serious draw with nothing hooked upOk maybe someone can help with wiring. My car is as bone stock of a chassis as you can get. No aftermarket anything. No 10volt and the funny thing is if you leave meter hooked up in a couple of minutes it drops to 6.9 to 7 volts.Did you mean 10 amp? That would be a serious draw with nothing hooked up
If that's a fully charged battery you'll be welding somewhere. No 10volt and the funny thing is if you leave meter hooked up in a couple of minutes it drops to 6.9 to 7 volts.
