225 Slant Six Binghamton Area

Hello all,
I am new to the forum and therefore do not know where this is to be posted, and would appreciate a redirect if I’m in the wrong area.

I am a college student who took on a summer project of building a daily classic car, I found my chariot (a 1973 plymouth valiant) which necessitated some work to be road ready. After successfully completing my voyage upstate to where I attend college, I found that the old slant six had developed a rod knock, I assume to due oiling issues at idle that had occurred on my trip upstate.

If anybody has a previously running slant that they’re willing to sell PLEASE be in touch! If anybody knows of any good classic car builders localish to Binghamton, NY PLEASE let me know!!

Also, if anybody has any tips for swapping an engine in your apartment parking lot please feel free to leave them below. Thank you all very much, any input is well appreciated.
