Regarding the ads, ad blockers don’t subtract or prevent money coming in to Joey. He’s not funding the site on how many people buy what the ads are for. He gets money for them just being on here. If they didn’t bring in revenue they wouldn’t be here and he would require everyone pay a membership.
In summary, every single member could run an ad blocker and Joey would make the same revenue off the ads.

To add to my point, the ads will never go away because they, along with membership, are part of the revenue. What entrepreneur cuts revenue voluntarily?
