Did not have keys for my door locks, so I put a matching set in and cannot get them to lock, push them down and they pop right back up, is there anyway to adjust or did I do something wrong, Thanks for any help.

At least on my 68 convertible, you have to have the door closed for them to work. if you are holding the door open they will not go down. The only way to lock them from the outside is using the key. (or through an open window, I guess)

This is the way my '67 locks work.

Agree with Top Down. I have to use my key to lock my doors. I guess it's some sort of safety feature built in back then.

Thanks guys, I’ve had this car for 15 years without any keys for the locks, I’ve forgot that you had to lock it with the key from outside, the good thing is that the new locks work and I have Mopar friends that are kind enough to help me, the bad thing is that I forgot how they worked, Thanks a million guys.
