If your current budget doesn't allow you to buy the early HP manifolds, put something else on (headers, later manifolds) until you "can" afford and justify buying the HPs. A lot of us on this site fight the same problems with income. I have to justify to myself the cost of high dollar parts before purchasing. I'm 72 and running my bracket car as a one man band, sometimes friends come out to help, but by and large, it's just me.
