Hood clearance with airgap intake

I got a small block with one of the knock off air gap intakes and a edlebrock carb. Things are looking awful tight. Anyone know of an air cleaner that'll fit? I'm hoping normal drop base stuff will be fine.
IDK about the Edelbrock but
I have 750DP on mine, and used to have a filter house from a 70 Dart , IIRC it's called Unsilenced. It was tight but did not rub. In the end I cut a hole in my hood, oh crap, I just noticed you have an early-A, and my car is a 68 Barracuda............. so, ......... IDK.
Best thing you can do for your engine is to rig it up so that atmosphere can ram straight in thu the top, cuz engines do not suck air. If the atmosphere has to hunt it's way to the carb thru the rad and over the hot engine parts, that's not good.
When I say I cut a hole in my hood, I wasn't kidding. I installed a nice oval aluminum aftermarket air-cleaner, and K&N, on top of the hood, and sealed the airhorn to the underside.
I saved the cut-out piece.
